Pricing & packages
Hourly rate is $109 if you bought your scooter from us (VIP), or $119 otherwise — minimum charge is half an hour. Diagnostics (figuring out what's wrong and quoting the fix) is also a 30-minute-minimum job; we can usually tell what's involved within that first block.
- Basic Service (from $75) — safety check, brake cable adjustment, tyre pressure, bolt tightening.
- Standard Service (from $109 VIP / $119 Standard, most popular) — everything in Basic, plus brake bleeds, lubrication, folding mechanism & stem check.
- Full Service (from $139) — everything in Standard, plus deep diagnostics, cleaning & reassembly, custom tuning, 10% off tyres.
Parts, tyres, and brake pads are always additional — we'll confirm before work begins.
How it works
- Book online, or drop in during opening hours.
- Bring your scooter to our Auckland workshop, or ship it in.
- We assess and confirm the job — no surprise costs.
- We fix it — most jobs done within a few working days.
- Pick up, or we ship it back to you.
Storage fees of $25/week apply from a week after we notify you it's ready for collection — covered in the Terms & Conditions you accept when booking.
Questions
- Can you fix scooters not bought from Storm Rides?
- Yes — we service most major brands regardless of where you bought it (parts dependent).
- How long does a service take?
- Most repairs take 2–4 working days. It can stretch to 1–2 weeks at peak periods — we'll always give you a timeline upfront.
- What happens if parts need to be ordered?
- We'll let you know and quote a turnaround time — we carry most parts locally for the brands we import.
- Not in Auckland?
- We work with trusted repair partners nationwide — just book as normal and we'll route you to the closest option, or courier your scooter to our Auckland workshop.
